reviewing past lessons
Posted by Tom C on April 30, 2026 at 9:14 pmIs there a way to go back to lessons that are older than 45 days old? I started the program before I learned the true value of placing a heart on the lessons I wanted to revisit. I am trying to learn from the Wagon Wheel lesson, but it is back in February and now I can’t access it. I also just found the little information button that says you can only access back to 45 days. Anybody have any way to get to those older lessons that I haven’t been able to find?

I think Moose and Pete have an app that lists all of the lesson and is down load-able. maybe they’ll chime in for this as it comes up quite often

Thanks to @Moose408 we always have access to any TAC lesson. It doesn’t change much from year to year but just in case there are almost 3 full years worth in this google sheet:
-
That is great information…shouldn’t those just be archived so we can retrieve them when we need them instead of relying on “Moose” or whoever? No offense, just seems like it would be a lot more user-friendly.

Thank you Pete (and Moose). This is a life saver for what I wanted to accomplish. I really appreciate your feedback. Thanks to all those who responded. This is a great community.

I click on the topic I want to go back to and nothing happens.
I often need to go away for a few days then finish the challenge when I return.
I can’t seem to be able to get back to them. Please help!

I want to help you but I am not sure what you are referring to when you say “I click on the topic I want:
Are you in Moose’s google sheet when you click?
Are you in the Master Index sheet and clicking in the column labelled TAC Daily Challenges? That column doesn’t have hyperlinks so nothing will happen
The sheet is arranged from week 1 to week 52.Lets say you choose week 1 lesson Bon Jovial New Year, then you have to select one of the years, it doesn’t matter which but pick a year that is blue underlined. So hover over January 2024 and a link pops up, click on it!
Now you are in the sheet for January 2024. Now simply hover over the title of the challenge (in column D. Again a popup appears, click on that and you will be taken to the challenge on the TAC website! -
If you know when the challenge was, it will be easier to find. Like I said the arrangement is week 1-week 52 so Jan, Feb challenges are near the top, December’s will be near the bottom.
-
Now, if you’re not referring to the Google Sheet but clicking somewhere on the TAC website, well that is another story. Nothing will happen for a bit, it takes anywhere from 4 – 30 seconds for the challenge to render after clicking on links.
Loading from Moose’s sheet is actually considerably faster.

Thanks for your help Pete. However, I still can’t get past the homepage. When I click on a blue hyperlink it just returns to the index page.
I’m using an iPad, does that make a difference?
Do I need to download any software?
-
Yeah, clicking on the month will not take you there, on a computer you hover and then a little box appears below to click on. I just tried it on my phone and I was having the same experience you were. Then I noticed an option to “Open in the App” this reopened Moose’s sheet in the Google Sheets app that I have on my phone. Then I was able to tap on the year, and it pops open the actual hyperlinks that move you along. So for this sheet to work you have to have the google sheets program on your device. You may have to download it onto your iPad.
Sorry, this was supposed to be a helpful tool and it’s been nothing but hurdles for you! @Moose408 made this sheet for himself and he has been so kind to share it with fellow TACers. It wasn’t designed to be a robust tool, but it’s always worked wonderfully for me, admittedly never tried it on any mobile device before.

Huh, I never noticed this because I have Google Sheets App installed on all my devices. I might be able to convert the whole thing to a web site but that would make it more difficult to maintain. Thanks @petelanger for pointing this out.

It’s worked well for almost everyone Moose, no worries! We found out why Alan was having trouble and he should be able to resolve it by downloading the app. Thanks again!

SUCCESS! I opened the spreadsheet in Google Sheets and it works.
Thank you Pete for your patience and finding the solution.
And a big thank you to Moose for creating the spreadsheet.
Onwards and upwards!

Thank you for sharing the Google Sheet! … I would’ve missed one of my favorite songs, “Angel from Montgomery”, working on it now, perfect for helping hone in my Chord transitions, like Tony said was the goal of the session. So grateful for your help! Thank you again

Here is an alternative to the Google Sheet that I put together recently:
