Sad day
Today is a sad day for me- maybe others also.
This probably isn’t the place- (and if it gets taken off that’s OK)- but I just have to mention the passing of one of my favorite artists – Christine McVie.
The voice of an angel, just wringing with musical and songwriting talent, she created some of my all-time favorite songs- maybe yours too.
She’ll be missed.

I hadn’t yet heard of her passing @the-old-coach . She was a great artist with a lovely voice that could transport you immediately within her song. A real loss.

I think it is beautiful that you recognize the impact her voice and music made on you and reaching out to share. I think it is appropriate and part of what any community is around for.
I still think one of the reasons I finally picked up a guitar was the realization of how much John Prine meant to me after his passing.
Christine McVie was such a force. Do you have a favorite song you are listening to today?

It’s hard to pick a favorite song of hers…… I think my two favorite(s) are–
Fave by far I think– “You make Lovin’ Fun”……..
Close second– “Songbird”.
There are so many
Yes- I’ve been listening to Fleetwood Mac today.

I haven’t been on here for a little while, but wanted to say that I share this sadness and that I also think that it’s a fine place to share such a sentiment. 💔 Music is such a force (both powerful and gentle)… and those who create the stuff that moves us do leave their mark in the best way.
