Security Check when accessing TAC?
I moved on Wednesday, no guitar the past 2 days but yesterday night I logged in and now there is a security routine verifying my identity. Is it just me, is because I am in a new City or is everybody getting verified now? It takes about 5 – 10 seconds of my guitar time…

I get it as well. Not every time but when I either log out or time out.

I don’t know if it is relevant, but last week when I traveled, the system asked me if I wanted to change my time zone profile in order to properly continue my streak counter, and I replied, yes. Upon my return to the Texas time zone, it asked me again and reset. It all seemed to work properly. Perhaps the login process is related to that correction of a bug.

It’s very annoying, I am getting the prompt very frequently, going to open a ticket with the support team.

In addition I am also having trouble getting the software to respond when I try to open or close a challenge.

Is this why I continue to get asked to verify I’m human? I’m also noticing much longer delays in marking sessions complete and moving from one session to another. Is that just me or are others experiencing similar issues? Thanks.

Yes @Ron-A , besides the annoyance of doing the “human” thing, I’m also experiencing delays in going from screen to screen, lesson to lesson, confirmation of completing a lesson, and logging off – yes, logging off!

I have important life changing decisions I have make every day. Should I change my guitar strings on any of the over 30 guitars I own. Do any of my amps need new tubes. You know, really important stuff, When I started using the new sign in procedure I was wondering what caused the change. I know I didn’t have any checks bounce or credit problems, except for the original problem of lack of funds to purchase another guitar that I knew would revolutionize my playing style, just like the other 30 guitars did. I didn’t take years to build an awesome learning environment online that helps me learn and enjoy a daily challenge that, mostly, I can handle. I’m new and I love my daily experience here online. If Tony needs to improve the security of my daily experience I’ll cut him some slack and wait to see if it improves or changes how I interact with all of you. That’s my .02 cents worth.
