I have 4 guitars, and rotate through them about 2 weeks plus or minus at a time. Playing all is strengthening my skills, since they are all set up differently. And I am playing enough that I finally am starting to hear the tone loss as the strings reach end of beauty status. (Certainly a #smallwin).

So I am changing strings, and wow, the old ones on my Archtop (came with the guitar received last December) and my Washburn D-21 last changed about then, too, are now very fine sounding.

I am experimenting with Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze lights (11’s) on those two, having moved from D’addario 80/20 Bronzes of the same gauge. So far 2 for 2 in greater appreciation. (#smallwin again, since one is a normal setup and the Archtop is a sotted headstock, so new things learned to allow me to do this.)in

Nothing earth shattering, but important to me.
