Simple Gifts / Appalachian Spring – short fingerstyle
I always thought this was a pretty melody and it seems easy to play but these are always really hard for me to pick up and to do consistently. Just thought I’d grab a recording while I had the mic set up.

Well done! You played it so clean. I did this one a couple years ago or more I think; playing the melody as you did, and then singing (if you want to call it that LOL), to the chords. I found it was a Shaker song they danced to, from 1848 I believe. It’s great how you are bringing out some great tunes from musical history.
