    You have probably heard this song. It is usually presented very gently as is befitting the lyrics. Some say that it was most likely a song used for dance in worship, and so may have been at a quicker pace though. So, I recorded at two different paces. I played the melody at a quick pace (I am pretty sure quicker than it would have been, even for dancing), so I could practicing some alternate picking. I then presented (singing being a stretch), the lyrics over the chords in a kind of arpeggio fashion. A simple song, but very nice melody.

    Thanks for posting @Philb. That is one of my favorite melodies, however, I have never listened to the lyrics before. Thanks for doing the two techniques together. Very nicely done.

    @SherryH Thanks much! It seems I have heard this since childhood, but hadn’t known the lyrics either until recently.
