Since the late Fall, I have been planning a coordinating a live get together in Danville, California. In the beginning there were eight of us. Covid, sense and sensibility and other factors (like a cold) kept 1/2 away, and we all understood.

The #smallwin, two of TAC’s stalwarts, and two players how have helped and influenced my progress did join me (along with a friend who just listened). And in addition to that win, stories abounded.

Thank You @jumpin’ Jeff S , and @Guitar Sherpa David and my friend Olga who travelled from all points in the Bay Area to have a blast (And my daughter Sonia and wife Deb who sang along with some of it. The folks at City of Danville could not have been nicer, and we all learned that the building we played in is actually where Jumpin’ grew up. (Small World and Small win.)

And for me, I learned so much. Sherpa is a rhythm guru, Jumpin’ and solo guru, and me, I am just a humble student, soaking in what I could. Thank you Senseis.

Eventually there will be sound posted, but I am still smiling ear to ear, and will for a while.

Such a cool win @AttyTJ ! I can’t believe @jumpinjeff and @Guitar Sherpa David travelled all that way. They can come to Philly anytIme they’re free (and you & Deb too). 😎

Sounds like an amazing time and I’m sorry I couldn’t do the 1100 mile or so round trip journey up and down the Coast. I’m hoping too for Colorado in the Summer (a work trip if it doesn’t get cancelled…again) and maybe even a trip to the East Coast sometime before the late Fall of 2022. There’s so many people to see and I’ve been stuck at home for far, far too long. Until then I look forward to any sights/sounds that may have been recorded, wish you the best on the remainder of your trip and for safe travels home @AttyTJ!

Murphy’s Law- oh, well, you know it. Carney’s Corollary: If we don’t play guitar when you are in Colorado, we missed it. Keep me advised, there are others here that are generally willing to play if we get it organized. Thanksk @SoCal_Ian .

Sounds like you had a blast and what a great win! Must try to organise something like that here in the UK when Covid finally releases us from it’s icy grip. 🤟😎🎸

Yes @Moonhare “when”. Where are you in the U.K. by the way?

It was great fun, and as I am on the low end of the skills of those of us there, great learning for me.

Hi there @AttyTJ – I am in Suffolk not far from the coast near Woodbridge. Moved here 6 years ago and I love it.

I miss playing live I have to say. Covid knocked all that on the head just as I was starting to get back into it but of course I may never have started to learn guitar if it wasn’t for lockdown so silver linings to everything if you look hard enough.
