1.) How many days per week do you play?

In my routine I have committed to 5 days per week (Monday through Friday). but most week I do 7 days a week.

2.) What time of day do you play?

I have 2 times a day that I play, First thing in the morning I get up and do my Guitar Tai Chi to warm up. Then I do the Challenge of the day, next I work on one of the skills, Then in the afternoon around 6:00 or so, I play again, this time I just have some fun and play some songs I know , and work on any new songs that I am learning.

    3.) Where do you play?

I play in my basement guitar room.

4.) What was your guitar life like before having a guitar routine & how has implementing a consistent guitar routine helped you? (if possible name 3 ways).

I did not have a guitar routine, I just started last year and I joined TAC at the same time, even though I have owned a guitar for 10 years, I never learned to play it.

    – I have made good progress over the last 9 months, I went from being able to tune a guitar, to playing a few song, ( still cannot sing at the same time but working on that)

    – I now have a Guitar habit… If I miss a day without picking up the guitar I feel bad. The habit is so Good that I have to make sure I pack the guitar if we are going to travel any place.

    – Playing out of my comfort zone. I cannot do most of the Daily Challenges, but at least I give it a go, and I can get part of them. I hope when they come around again, i will be able to do them, or let’s say I can be a little better.

5.) Bonus Question: What is one non-guitar item that is a must have in your guitar routine?

I agree with Tony Coffee!!! for my morning session. But I have to have a nice cold pint of Beer for my afternoon session.
