Thank You Victoria!
In the past week I had an issue with my 562 day streak ending and it shouldn’t have. I talked to Victoria, she could see it should not have ended and forwarded the issue to TAC IT. My streak has been restored and I am very thankfully.
I login everyday and do the challenge. I have only missed 2 days, in almost 2 years.
So thank you Victoria for your help.

Wow… what a streak! Congrats!
I did notice a couple days ago that I had to mark “complete” about 3 times before it registered on the home page. But yeah… gotta keep an eye on it!

Completing a challenge doesn’t seem to affect the session count. Accessing the home page while logged in is what advances the counter. I make sure I see it rollover each day, usually the Current Day streak increments and then it takes a second refresh for the Longest Day streak to increment.
I think one streak got broken while I was still on the site and playing through a challenge but was logged out by the system (logins expire after a set number of days).

@Bayvu2 that’s an astounding streak! Congratulations on your impeccable consistency!
We must have started around the same time because I’m at 554 sessions officially. Some were wiped out by glitches. I started on July 3rd 2024, and I’ve missed less than 14 days, 9 of those were when I went on vacation to Vienna.

Thank You. I started May 1, 2024. I had 30 years of starting and Stopping guitar and the only thing I had to show for it was a bunch of guitars I had collected. I knew if this time was going to be different, for me, I needed to commit to play everyday.
And actually the streak is longer because early on I had some glitches.
I bought my Martin on April 24, 2024 and have played everyday (648 days) since then and only missed 2 days.

I’ll add to praise for Victoria. I, too, have been here a while and my interactions with her are always positive, supportive and helpful. My longest streak is 366 although it changed to 324 last fall for some unknown reason but I know they will eventually sort that stuff out. Victoria is another reason TAC is value to those of us on our guitar journey. Thank you.

I just lost my streak on Monday. I was logged in, I accessed the daily challenge but the counter must not have advanced. I’ve been very meticulous about watching the number increase every day for 294 days but on day 295 I must have slipped up. I’ve reached out to support and asked them to restore it, I’m here every day and they know that. I’m on the site 3 times a day or more. Hoping I get it restored, it sucks to see single digits in your current streak when you’re so used to 3!

Hope they can do something for you, Pete. I was devastated when mine went back to 0 when I knew I was on and did my challenge. My streak is up to 760 now! Good Luck!

It got restored! Thank goodness! I’m just going through some crazy stuff with my family at the moment. This cheered me up a bunch!

It seems like no big deal, just a number, but I couldn’t unsee that big number that had become a miniscule number. It’s weird how the brain works!
This is a thing that can easily happen and it will happen to other people. I should think that TAC admins should be able to fix this without pulling in IT.

I appreciate Victoria. As I’ve said before, I intentionally broke my streak ay 366 because I felt the pressure of continuing the streak was starting to steal from the joy of the journey. Since then I have occasionally screwed up and missed a day. It generally happens around a grandchild’s event but it is my fault. [And Victoria, if you do read this, I’d appreciate it if somehow my longest streak coto 366.]
