Tip for quick access to the Virtual Open Mic posts each week
I have mostly used the forums to find links to the VOMs each week. The new forum format can make it harder to find the posts for them since they tend to go down the list fairly quickly and you have to scan or use the search. The search can be helpful, but also tends to pick up posts from people’s VOM performances (which are great!), so you also end up scanning a long list.
<div>So, my tip. When you first see the post for the VOM, click on the discussion and then click on the “Favorite” icon.
</div><div>When you want to find it again later:
Desktop:
1. click on the dropdown where your username is at the top right of the screen
2. select “My Forums”
3. select “My Favorites” tab
4. select the VOM discussion you want to attend to get the zoom info
Mobile:
1. tap 3-lined menu icon on the top left of the screen
2. tap your profile picture/icon
3. tap “Forums” tab below your picture
4. tap “My Favorites” tab below the “Forums” tab
5. select the VOM discussion you want to attend to get the zoom info
After a VOM completes, remove the discussion from your favorites to keep your list clean and shorter.
I recommend bookmarking the “My Favorites” page so you don’t have to do the navigation each time.
