Today’s Challenge
Well, I have to say, I am totally impressed, and also pleasantly surprised. I happen to be learning finger picking / Hybrid Picking. Mainly because I am trying to learn the intro to Crazy On You – Heart. Turns out, while learning the finger picking style to this piece, I can also use the Hybrid Picking style which will help me with my other tasks. I have to say, the percussion style is stumbling me up a little, but I will get it. The picking seems to be pretty straight forward. All in all – what a great 1st day, and other than my tracking progress file not saving my info, I would say, after playing an hour or so, that is a WIN 🤘🤘

It sounds like you’ve got a win @lurtchatv. The percussion thing is difficult for me. So simple yet so tricky. Practice makes progress!

I hear you Steve, I’ve been playing a long time and that still throws me off. I am ok with the slap down, But when I have to do the scrape up and back down right quick, I generally lift my muting palm and the strings ring out 🤣
