    Ive been messing with palm muting recently. its been hit or miss. Ah, good. Ah thump, clank, boink. I was watching an old acoustic tuesday and tony just casually mentions that when doing palm muting make sure your palm is on the white part of the bridge that way you wont completely mute the strings but it will sound good. Voila! Tony does it again. I tried it on Freight Train and it worked first time!
