VOM scary/fun!!
I had a chance to play at one of the VOMs last weekend. This was the first time playing in front of anyone other than my wife and kids. I was scared but felt comfortable in the group. Thank you for being so welcoming and encouraging to the new players.
I have been playing guitar for about a year and joined the TAC community a month ago. The ability to step way outside my comfort zone is amazing and helps me stay motivated to practice. My playing has progressed faster over the past month then it had over the past year.
I’m glad to be a part of this fantastic community.

@flight3202. I attended and played at that VOM also. It was my 3rd time playing. I had nothing prepared but the slots weren’t filled so I jumped in. It does get easier but I was still sweating and making mistakes but the encouragement was well worth it. I hope to see and hear you again soon. Keep up the progress.

Good Job! I have not played in front of anyone. Attending a VOM is pretty scary at the moment.

I was lucky to be there and see your performance @Flight3202 , and you fit right in. Come back and do more of them. We have more fun with people we don’t know as well, yet, and love all the music provided.
