Watched the #205 Acoustic Tuesday and got back on track
I have been getting off track this month. Here it is 9-23 and I have already missed 11 challenges!! I just watched #205 Acoustic Tuesday and Tony put together a lick challenge segment and it really opened my eyes to what I can do with those small challenges he puts up every weekday. Instead of just playing the challenge for 10 minutes to get it over with, which is why I have been getting bored with them. I can start using that lick in different combinations to get some cool sounds. Thanks for listening everyone. But, I had to mention this as my small win. 🙂

I did sit down yesterday and played 3 of the challenges that I missed. I already do copy the tab sheets, but I think i’m going to download the tracking audio that Tony has on Wednesday and start working with that a little. I do miss that we can’t download the lesson any more, but I understand that fully. Those little videos take up a lot of space.

I have been playing songs but it’s still good to do the challenges. My brother came over and was playing all these cute little riffs that he knows and it sounded so fun. I can play the pentatonic scale and that’s it for me on riffs or scales. Then after I watched the last Acoustic Tuesday it made me realize that I have to stick to it if I want to get anywhere near good. 🙂
