  • Weds scale and backing track clicked for me.

This week my small wins melody sound outs and notations included Washington Square, Tar Heel Cheer, Piano Man, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Shenandoah, This is the Night.

I guess Weds. scale was pretty easy, and it was fun getting the rhythm on the backing track Thursday. Both days seemed to click. Today’s challenge a different story…my ring finger is still sore, but the real culprit has been my antipathy towards most all b chords!

Some great wins @Brian2501 ! As for the B chord, those A-shaped barre chords are really difficult. I end up using my ring finger and my pinky to fret, because my ring finger isn’t flexible or strong enough to hold down 3 strings, and the bend in knuckle area leaves a gap making it impossible to fret 3 strings together.
