  1. It took several rewinds but i’m finally getting smoke oin the water. my method is to keep moving ahead the coming back to the beginning and starting the lessons over

  2. My fingers having trouble spanning the distance. Also having trouble with phone kicking out of link and trying to find my place again. In fact I jumped to offshore bank account and spent 25 min trying to follow along thinking that was advanced for beginners. Then got instruction to go back to 30 day. With much relief I did and about to push complete hoping to find my way back tomorrow for day two without problems. Trusting the process Tony.

  3. Honestly I’m not sure guitar playing is mentally for me. The course just keeps moving on and I’m still struggling to make the simplest cords without flattening other strings.

  4. I can’t get my ring finger to span from say fret 3 with my index finger and 5 with my ring finger. Any ideas?

  5. Still head down ands skating with determination but I feel I’m light years away from picking two strings to make it sound like Tony does!

  6. I Find that it’s getting easier every day. It is a long process to get the brain to get use to it . Remember that your brain assimilates new things While you sleep. You will do better every day

  7. This is definitely working for me, although some social events are hindering my progress. I can’t fault the system.

  8. Frustration is setting in again. I did the 30 days to play and the 5 day routine, I’m assuming the next lessons are the Daily Challenges. I am in no way ready for that. Did I miss something?

  9. I just finished Day 4 and was attempting to find the 5 Day Finger Stretch Challenge. Can’t find it. Where do I go to find it? Thanks.

  10. These 4 weeks have been the best learning for me. The G chord is still had for me as well as switching between chords. Still have to look at the fret board. The best part is l’m hooked on this method, l also like l can always go back to any lessons to practice. Thanks.

  11. I really enjoyed this course. Still working on my chord shapes and speed, but this has got me farther along than anything in the past.

  12. 40 year “beginner” here. I had the basic gist of “Smoke
On the Water” in about 5 minutes. No issues with tuning.
I usually tune with harmonics after I get the low string in tune.

  13. I have the same question about the stretch of my hand. I can barely do it.
Why can’t I see the answers to the other people who have asks this same question?

  14. I just can’t seem to get my fingers to stretch out that far. It is challenging, but I am going to keep practicing and do some stretching exercises.

  15. Like most things which feel uncomfortable at first, I expect left wrist and fingers will improve with repitition and exercise.
Any wrist and finger stretching exercises you can recommend?

  16. I’m having trouble with my ring finger position. Doesn’t come easy. It’s always been a limitation for me with small hands but maybe it’s my hand positioning.

  17. Good afternoon – I went to go on this lesson and my D string broke. Ugh. I called a guitar center near me and they will not replace just the one string. they will have to replace all 6. I am dropping off tonight and will get the guitar back in a few days. Needless to say I will be delayed in my lessons, but see this as only a glitch. I am committed to learning and will not let this delay discourage me. thank you
