So much fun! I had a blast with this exercise!
-
Great and easy to understand lesson. Thanks so much!
-
I’m having fun, do I need to be perfect before marking as complete?
-
Ok I just found the tabs. I need to learn to navigate.
-
I guess I’m very new to this . I am not sure if there’s pictures of tabs on where to place your fingers. It’s challenging for me to try to see more or less where his fingers are being placed on the strings . I keep rewinding but can’t get it.
-
I found the tablature easier to follow as I was struggling too with the video. Once you use the tab you’ll be great, if you haven’t already cracked it!
-
I will say that the fingering (fretting) that Tony uses are suggestions. I have found myself changing the fretting to something that fits my fingers better. I think Tony’s hands are larger than mine.

-
My 2nd or 3rd time through and I’m finally getting it
-
This was fun, I love the boogie!
-
Way too much fun late at night – what a treat!
-
FUN FUN FUN!
After 8 weeks and 47 playing sessions with a 17 day record stretch my fret finger tips are finally getting thick calluses. This is allowing me to play longer during the weekend when I have more available time! I know we need to focus on momentum over mastering but this 12 bar blues is way too much fun to set it down! LOL Like… Kind of like the old pringles commercial. Bet you just cant have one! LOL!!! -
Mucho fun!
-
transition was hard, especially with pinky,BUT I finally got it!
-
This is great! I’m learning so much and am surprised that I am catching on at a decent pace
-
Is there a general “rule” for finger placement on the day 1 Boogie? Some naturally feel right & the right fingers naturally find the fret, others not so much. Any feedback appreciated.
-
HeyJude, take a good look at what your hand is dong when it feels right (focus on just that part of the Boogie), the go to the first part that is feeling shakey an try to get your hand to do the same as before. I find the “B” section works best when I slide my whole hand up the neck and use my mid and pinky fingers on the D string.

-
I’m liking it this is promising
-
I am going to dedicate a couple of hours to learn this. Looks like a good foundation for blues rhythm.
-
Well spent a couple days on boogie and marked complete. Im commiting this to memory, will take some time to get fingers and brain to do that. Moving on but on this and going back every day until its locked in. I like it, feels like it’s important to really get this one.
-
Very nice
-
Oh! Yeah !! Man I’ve just learned something in 15 minutes that has baffled me for years. Great stuff.
-
Finally got thur the notes smoothy all the way to the end. Now to develop a little speed and expression
-
Blues blues and more blues…zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
-
Played until my fingers are sore. But I got it down at 1x speed. A perfect end to a good day. I love this program. Thanks
-
lots of fun, my biggest trouble is the picking,
-
So much fun!!!
-
got it in 2 days… so cool
-
Wow! It took me only two weeks to nail down Day 1. I’m no “Speedy Gonzalez” that’s for sure. However, the feeling of successfully achieving a challenging guitar goal is the fun part. It feels goooood!
-
I started this when I first started the lessons and now I am able to play it
-
WOW. That Santa Cruz is beautiful.
-
Question – We are starting on E as one and its a blues scale but its in the Key of C major? Looking at the tab here…
-
Nailed it!
-
This is fantastic! It is a lot of fun!
-
A whole lot of fun with this one.
-
I don’t see the tablature. Is it missing on this one?
-
Lower right corner of the video little words tab and six horizontal lines next to it
-
-
Really enjoyed this module, fun and quick to learn!
-
Finally getting to grips with picking the right strings at a reasonable speed.
-
Starting to understand tab reading and it is making things easier.
