  1. BB King had an amazing way to get the most vibrato. My wrist does not move that fast. Windsor Ontario, Canada.

  2. Welcome New TAC Members! I hope you have a very enjoyable experience!! This one went great! With the exception of the vibrato on the second fret. Still trying!

  3. Checking it from Virginia. Loving this week because the vibrato allows you to squeeze the most out of a single note.

  4. Will B from south Mississippi. This is my second time through this lesson and it is a lot of fun, and sounds really cool.

  5. Not sure if it’s my arthritis pr not, but I don’t seem to be able to rotate my wrist to get really effective vibrato. I get just a little vibrato, so maybe it’s just a matter of practice… We’ll see.
Small win – I came, I played. And then, I experimented with chords and found an interesting new chord progression that appeals to me.
    Have a great evening, folks!

  6. This is fun lesson. Got it right away! These easy lessons (and they are different for all of us), really help build confidence.

  7. Playing in Lewisville near Dallas,Tx in my second year with TAC, playing session 444. This challenge needs more work, but is coming more easily than the first time around.

  8. Pulling nails is a good description! You make it look so easy- I can see myself coming back to this one many times!

  9. Hi TAC family! Strumming from Cleveland, OH. I fell off the Polecastro wagon about a year or more ago, trying to hang in this time because I really do love to play!! Thanks Tony for making it fun! : ) Love all the comments here as well!

  10. Welcome new TAC members! Joined this past December and have been learning and enjoying this a lot! Playing from Phoenix (Hunt Valley), Maryland north of Baltimore!

  11. Anchorage, Alaska.
Getting better all the time. It surprises me, since to begin with, everything was a frustrating struggle. Gotta say, this is a good way to learn guitar. Convenient and fun… eventually.

  12. Playing my Taylor 214 CE Plus from Charleston SC, session 260!!! I do like weeks where there is more of a song involved, but we do need to learn these techniques. I like this vibrato best so far – and used mainly my middle and ring fingers — and I cannot seem to keep them “together” to help each other like Tony does, but I really do not seem to need that.

  13. Hey new and old TAC Fam! Today is amazingly session 806! 2.5 years in and still coming back every day (well almost). I’m in sunny Lost Angeles and and I was able to do this vibrato with my pointer finger but my other fingers seem to prefer the ‘wiggle’ from yesterday. Rock on ya’all!

  14. Welcome all TAC members. Session #719, playing from Columbus, Ohio. Been at this a while and find this really helps with the acoustic guitar. Skills translate to the electric guitar in a heartbeat.

  15. Hello fellow TAC’ers from the mountain country of Tehachapi, CA. Enjoying playing on my new Fender American Professional II Stratocaster.

  16. Welcome new TAC members, 120 sessions, I am located North California, in Magalia, in the Plumas National Forest. I went Fishing this morning did not catch any fish but a good time and a nice long walk. Like the challenge it was a win for me today.

  17. I find this to be the most difficult of the three to achieve a quick vibrato. My hand just doesn’t want to move that quickly (yeah – it’s all my hand’s fault). Any suggestions? I’m thinking about trying it with a metronome and increasing by 3-5 bpm at a time.

  18. I am joining you from a small Norther Eastern B.C town In Canada. We are located at mile 45 (Kilometer 72 or so for my fellow Canucks) on the Alaska Highway.
I have better success without anchoring my knuckle, not sure how you do that Tony. I also have better luck using my middle or ring finger rather than my index toward the headstock or my pinky toward the body of the guitar.
