Day 3 – Livin’ On The Edge
Living on the edge is not just an Aerosmith song… it’s the name of your challenge today because you’ll be working on an “edgy” vibrato. This approach uses bending as the main facilitator to achieve the gentle waver that’s necessary for vibrato. You’ll use this on the low strings, and find that this technique will allow you to quickly adjust the speed or “edginess” of your vibrato. Today holds a bonus as well… you’ll be able to use the three techniques and three scales that you have learned thus far to play a guitar solo and really sink into the vibrato goodness that you have been developing.
