Four Eyes
Today’s scale shape is actually three shapes connected, and the cool thing about this shape is that it is isolated to the high four strings on the guitar… you won’t even have to touch the A or low E string. This scale shape, or rather shapes, I totally love because of the ease with which they lay out on the guitar neck. Also, these shapes will show how important it is to be able to play single notes while playing finger-style guitar… once you unlock that technique you can throw in little licks and fills at your leisure and never have to worry about returning to your fingerpicking pattern.
