Feels awkward but getting it.

This was a challenge but fun. I’ll be practicing this exercise for awhile.

You kind of lost me on the A cord, I thought you were only holding down on string, I went to the tabs, then I got it. I like the way you push a little, it keeps me going.

I kept doing the walk downs on the wrong strings ! lol. I eventually got it .

You really are a great teacher; please keep teaching all these rhythms; love for us to have bonus lesson where you have some sing the song while you play (like a Saturday bonus); cause really what we want to do is sing a song as we play – ur 5 days are perfect, but we need to get where we could sing the song as we play (why you would need 6th day). This is a competitive market; I think you are the best but everyone is trying to make a product better than the next guy; if you had us all developing a repertoire of songs that we could sing and play it would be so awesome; I feel like you dont like to sing, so find some person with a beautiful voice that could sing while you play

Slowing down was a challenge. Got it. Then played a mess of blues improv.

Fun exercise, able to with boom chicks and bass walks

Good practice. Did okay with the chord transitions and strumming pattern. Need a little more work on consistency and timing.

Using the metronome helped. Got the notes under the fingers, then moved up. Worked Ok. I may have to rethink that piece of equipment. I haven’t been a fan.

Fun exercise, would not usually play it that slow but good way to make sure my pick accuracy was there since it jumps around a bit. Nice build on yesterday’s lesson.

Today’ session never got started for me. I’m very unhappy with wasting over a half hour trying to get it started and it wouldn’t. I don’t need reminders about not letting frustration, or lost , or getting behind when this is what happens instead. If this is how it is I’ll be seeking a refund soon.

put in my fav so I can practice this. I really like it but my fingers are sore doesn’t sound great picking so I’m strumming instead. I’m picking up on the placement of my fingers but the up strum still sucks.

Love the bass runs and Boom chucka rhythm. Had lots of fun,.. a definite win!

I am enjoying the music theory and teaching. However my fingers are simply cooperating today.. seems like the harder I try the worser it gets… I will stay at it.

Did OK, but wasn’t hitting the timing on the runs SO, I went to the tab and slowly counted and played until I started getting the timing right. Wasn’t perfect but a great timing exercise.

This was harder for me than expected. I can follow along cleanly while staring at the tabs, but I get all confused trying to play it without tabs. Maybe I’m just tired. I’ll keep trying tomorrow.

That was fun, and I really liked the base walks as a transition, I can see where playing that slowly at first make sense, because as it get faster that transitions will become a lot more difficult so it will take some work to get there. I am here and doing what I love to do, as I truly love this instrument, always have and always will!

If you know your pentatonic forms, this is easy to remember. It starts with form 1 then on to form 2 then on to 3 etc… Form 1 begins again on the 12 fret.

I gamify the 10 minute timer. The clock is ticking and I have to get it to 100% at 60bpm before the timer goes off. This one is for a million dollars! If I get it, I increase the speed and repeat. I got this one to 1.75 before it went off. Good fun.

Wait, did I miss a week? For some reason, instead of opening up on “Fastforward,” it opened up on this lesson. Strange. Put hey, I got a head start on next week.

That was easier than I expected . . . Use that strum quite a bit and love walk downs. Loved the sound of this one.

Finally was able to play along at regular speed. I enjoyed this exercise.

This was fun. I’ll practice it more to join the phrases together. Today is a big win for me. It’s my 300th session, as January has started my third year with TAC. This last October, knowing I’ve remained committed to Tony’s daily lessons, I treated myself to an upgrade in guitars. I bought two Zager series 900 Tobacco Sunburst models. One is the orchestra body, the other a dreadnaught. Wonderful build-quality and deep, resonant sound.
