I like it either way, plain C chord or Cadd9. Think they both sound good.
Yeah – so same comment as above, I was confused between the C vs Cadd9, and I like the sound of C better in this song.
The way I play it is after the G chord in section 4, I fret with my middle, then ring (frets, 2, 3), that sets me up for the C chord. (Using index, middle was too hard to switch).
And when I get back to Section 1 (after section 4), just make sure middle finger frets the e-string on 3rd fret to set up for the G-chord (as opposed to using ring finger, which originally seemed more natural, but then the G switch was too hard)
If anyone has a better way, let me know
Just fyi – in the tab it says to strum a C chord in bar 14, in the video Tony strums a Cadd9.
I noticed that too, Steve. I’m thinking that the Cadd9 is easier for the transitioning back to G, but I like the C sound better
Jeremy agreed the regular C chord sounds right for this song.
