Thanks for another great solo. You are my inspiration for Wednesdays. I always look forward to what you produce. I mess around trying to come up with something just anything and then listen to your posts. I am awed every time.

@BethL thank you so much! I really regret that so few members post their improvs anymore. I think it is one of the most important lessons of the week and even beginners should put them out there for comments and community. You did a great job and I loved the chord strums you through in. Very nice post @LoveMyHoodie , especially for a first post. Very smooth and clear. Freight Train was my first post as well. I was so nervous and had to take several recordings. You don’t seem nervous at all. You’re on a great path. Keep them coming.

Hi @ellenbelshin23gmail-com , don’t worry, most of us have felt overwhelmed by the lessons. I started out just like you. I would work on a lesson until I could play it before I would mark it complete and move on. But, you will really get behind that way. So I eventually, learned to give it my best and if I really love it I favorite it so I can come back to it after the month completes. I also use the weekend to practice the week’s lessons. As @albert_d mentioned the lessons do come around again and you will see that the next time you encounter it you will find it easier. It is a long term process of exposure and improvement. It is not likely that when you encounter something for the first time that you will play it like Tony on that day or week or month or year even. But you will see improvement as time goes by. Just consistently try the daily lessons and you will see gradual improvement.

Thank you for that gift. I love listening to your improvs. They are beautiful. What a wonderful skill, and something I want to develop but I’m still stuck at the beginner level even though I love trying. Wednesday is my favorite day of the week even though I’m rarely satisfied with my result. Thanks for being my inspiration.
