I’ve been keeping an eye out for a second guitar for the same thing. (Also keeping an eye out for my wife to make sure she isn’t keeping an eye out for me keeping an eye out for a second guitar.)

Thanks for sharing your thoughts Loraine and Alfred. I do keep my nails fairly short and I don’t really think the lack of nails affects my playing much. Even when short, they sometimes split. I did see an interview with James Taylor a while back, and he mentioned that he does have acrylic nails because his regular nails wouldn’t last long the way he plays.

Very true Fly. I’ve become a big believer in the 10-minute minimum Tony prescribes. When I started, I didn’t think it was enough. But I found I can always find 10 minutes (which usually becomes more). That keeps me from missing a day or two, getting bummed out and letting things slide.
