Ironically, just a few weeks ago when writing my “How I TAC,” I described how important practicing at the same time each day had become to me. Wouldn’t you know it, some things happened that meant I had to be out of the house during my usual right-after-breakfast practice time anywhere from 2 to 4 days a week. My regular routine has become irregular, but I’m still managing to practice every day — sometimes earlier than usual, but most often later in the day. So my small win is coping with changes that were otherwise beyond my control.

Funny how life can interrupt our routine, isn’t it. Not always convenient, but it does happen. Way to acclimate and be resilient @Badgerbanshee !!

Nice win Badger. I’m struggling atm staying positive as my work load has really altered my routine so I’m not getting in as much practice as I’d like. On the positive side tho My routine I’ve created has meant I’ve been getting the minimum in so I’m taking that as a win to keep me ticking over until I can get on top of my work/life balance. In the past things like this would have me hanging up my guitar. Lot to be said for creating a resilient routine that you are able to adapt.

Very true Fly. I’ve become a big believer in the 10-minute minimum Tony prescribes. When I started, I didn’t think it was enough. But I found I can always find 10 minutes (which usually becomes more). That keeps me from missing a day or two, getting bummed out and letting things slide.
