Why I'm Here

I am an older guy really. I just refuse to act my age. I have a habit of bringing new guitars home just because I can. How many guitars does one guy need ? I’ll let you know when I have an answer for that.

I have 11 guitars in my office. Yes 11 the button didn’t stick. The others are in another room in their case. I have electrics and acoustics with the weight of the scale leaning towards my acoustics.

My Favorite one or the one I play the most? I play my Ibanez AWG18NE more than any other. My favorite is new. A 35th wedding anniversary gift from my kind hearted loving and patient wife. A Fender Paramount 000. I had it set up as I do with anything needing some help and it is flawless.

<em>I started this journey a very long time ago. I thought for the longest time that getting lessons would be ridiculous for a grown man owning a business and raising kids to subject myself to the criticisms of a guitar teacher. I know now that I wasted a lot of time fumbling around and learning nothing.</em>

I play to have fun and challenge myself. There are moments when my guitar is  therapeutic. I can be found at the end of a frustrating work day with a guitar in hand sitting in my back yard under a palm tree immersing myself in my music.
