@RudyB , this is a good win for the day. Being comfortable to tune your guitar differently is a big win also. It will start opening so many doors for you.

@Mrfredsporty and @the-old-coach , I have been practicing a little with how a song is sung also. I do pretty much do what Mark is doing and try to play the guitar along with the song playing and catch the same way the artist sang the song. I usually upload the song into the audacity app. I can slow the song down if necessary. Also record myself playing and see how I sound along side it.

@Mrfredsporty , I like to finger pick. I found I am beginning to like some strummed songs. There are so many strumming patterns to memorize, yikes. For myself, I’d like to strum a song and record it. Then record a solo to that song. I haven’t done that yet, But, that’s my plan. Sounds like you are doing well with your guitar journey.

Now…… I have been looking at guitar straps. But, walking around and playing? I think i would for sure break the neck off walking through a hallway. Glad you had some fun 😉

Wow, you can hit those hi notes. The story to the song was great. Can’t wait for the next one.

@Loraine , Rocking it with an electric! Came out well. Your chord changes are really fluid as is the strumming.

Chris Martin is still going to be chairman of the board (at least for awhile). Maybe they needed new marketing with fresh ideas? Sometimes passing it down to family isn’t the best decisions? Time will tell. This would be a good feature on Acoustic Tuesday. Thanks for the post.

Thanks @Moonhare . I appreciate your comments. I’m trying to work on memorizing them now. I have 6 songs memorized so far (this isn’t one of them). Most of my songs I need the sheet music for. Thanks again.

@Mrfredsporty When I started really listening to songs that I play, I realized….. Hey, I’m playing it wrong. Maybe the break was in the wrong place or whatnot. So by recording it and listening to myself playing and singing. It jumps up and slaps me in the face when I hear it wrong.,

@Kitman , I couldn’t get the link to work for the capo you were talking about. It did take me to Paige site, so I could look at what they have to offer. I do need a new capo, mine works great but it a strain on my wrist putting it on and off. Thanks for the info.

@Christopher_H , It’s not as hard as it looks. It just sounds hard. I would never had thought to capo on the 8th fret!! Gives it a whole new feel. Thanks for your comment. ,
