@Mrfredsporty , I was the same way. I wanted a Martin D28, and that was it! I wasn’t thinking how big the guitar was. It’s a large full size. I found it was hard for me to get my arm around comfortably. I had it for about a year and 1/2 and traded it in. I rarely played it. I had to step down in size. I’m not a big woman so your fit will be different than mine. My advise is to get to the guitar store and bring some of your sheet music that you regularly play. And…. sit down and play for awhile. If it’s a good store, they will let you do that. After all, it’s not a cheap guitar. Ask for something slightly smaller and slightly larger (of the same quality of tone). Don’t be afraid to go back the next day and the next. They want a happy customer and you want a guitar that makes you happy. Also ask for their return policy. Then you can decide if you want new or used. Good Luck, I hope my advice helps.

I will have to watch the Acoustic Tuesday (AT) today. But, i think you are on the right track of adding some emotion into the song by how you play it. Good job. Opening up AT right now 🙂

If we waited till a song was perfect, it would never be uploaded! It took me a long time to get up the courage to upload a song into the internet, than post it on the ‘play for us’ site. You did a good job, don’t cut yourself short. Another thing to keep in mind is those mistakes that you hear when your playing….. your audience usually doesn’t hear at all. Good Job on Nine Pound Hammer. You said you got it off the old songbook, do you mean the old song vault that Tony had? I’ll check it out and see what is in there. Again , good job.

YOU GOT THE HD!! I am glad you did. I know I was mad at myself for not getting the HD. But, like I said it was just to hard for me to play so I let someone else buy it. now….. I’m looking at a used 12 string.

@Kitman , i have been looking at audio editor and recording application at the local music store and even with the cheapest it’s over $100. When I was recommended this from another guitar site as a free download. I couldn’t turn it down. I thought maybe others could use it too.

@MikeGaurnier , I have worked all over the car. It’s very interesting. The last job I had was for headlights. You wouldn’t imagine all the stuff they get into them. If you like art, you would have loved design. But, I am taking on-line classes in art right now. Color Pencil Art.
Looking forward to joining a VOM. When I do I’ll post that I went.

Thanks @MikeGaurnier ,Found it. I also found the calendar. Just downloaded zoom. I have used it before, but it’s been awhile ago. I’ll load it up and play around with it for awhile. My computer doesn’t have sound (I never needed it for CAD work). I have to use head phones with it. Hmmmm….. in fact I just opened up the browser and I’m informed I don’t have a camera or microphone. I know I have used zoom on my IPhone, when I decide to play I can use that. In the meantime, I am pretty sure I could view the VOM, you just won’t be able to see me.

I wont be able to explore ‘justmusicgeeks’ today, but I will tomorrow. I’ll check out the VOM and find that calendar of ‘play’ days. Thanks again
