I play with another guitarist at a senior center once a month though covid has slowed the requests lately. The audience loves fun songs and ballads. We try to stay away from sad songs. Yodeling is a real hit (my fellow musician does this). I brought about 20 Christmas songs that were enjoyed by most of the gang. What you do is so meaningful, Dirk.

Great fun and worth the exercise for sure. I remember shopping for my new electric guitar and not one but two salesmen played that riff as an opening to how well the axe sounded!

Very well done, Marisa. I will remember your dedicated work as I do the same. To get it right, I know I need lots more time for each particular song. Moving from rhythm to fingerpicking can be a massive jump and Tony is making it work for me. Performing is something I did a long time ago and I’m trying with your kind of strength to get it done.

JenLong, this is the busiest time for me. I am so happy that you have taken charge of your schedule and your calm and not so calm playing times. I do have the times where I go to the guitar and there is nothing positive going on. Once in a while I walk away and that needles me so much that I tend to return the same day and play for a long time!
