Kit is my first name and I just tried to using that however was informed by the TAC system that was taken. I went with Kitmann as that was what I was called in high school.I added added the additional n to be a bit quirky and kind of drag it out a bit… KitMannnnn. Think Cheech and Chong. 😂

Great advice given here @the-old-coach . I agree that simplifying the chords is a fine way to learn a song and work on the timing between the lyrics and the guitar playing. I have done this many times. Once I figure out the chord shapes I want to use, I play along with the original to see how the artist times and delivers the lyrics. I have also just played the chords and thought the lyrics. I’ve also hummed and mumbled something like you have described in your post. IMO, it’s all good as it is your version of the song your are creating! 😀

Absolutely agree, @Cadgirl ! We all learn from each other regardless of our musical tastes, style and abilities. This is one of the most beneficial aspects of TAC! Play on @Philb ! 😃🎸

Hi folks, sorry for posting with no intro. I have an itchy click finger and I accidentally posted 🙄. This improv came more quickly than in the last weeks. All of the techniques, scales and licks that were provided in the Daily Challenges. It is all beginning to gel a bit! 😃

Great job @Philb ! Your pinch and finger style picking was really good and your fretting was spot on. I really enjoyed watching and listening to you perform that piece! 😀
