Thanks for posting, @KevinZ ! A classic tune by the King. A wonderful Valentine’s Day song, for sure. Nice guitar approach and lovely singing for this tune as well 🎶💕👍

    Really nice @Marty72 . That’s a fun tune and you did a great job.👍🍻

I played that at my niece’s wedding a few years back. My daughter sang! Very nice sounding new guitar as well 🎶

Thanks, @Kitman! I am playing a Waterloo WL-14. It’s pretty much a re-making of the old Kalamazoo guitars from the 30’s and 40’s. Have a great weekend! 🎶

Thanks, @Kitman ! It was a long track, so I tried to mix things up a bit. 🙂

@Philb ,Looks like quite a few bands do this often sometimes to make the singing easier or make it easier to bend strings sometimes. Hendrix, SRV, some Led Zeppelin and a whole bunch of heavy and punk bands also.

I didn’t notice it was a half step down until I went to strum along to the chords. Make it sound a bit more ominous. Never realized they tuned down for that song.

Thanks, @KevinZ ! That blues scale will definitely bring in feelings of Suzie Q, and quite a few other bluesy songs…🎶
