@Marguita…..Printing is Good for some, but That is what i did for decades. Paper is just a Nuisance (without a File Clerk? heh) It flops about, slides off wherever one trys to place IT, etc. I DO similar to you, but i immediately switch between Screens. No corrections are “usually” possible??? (sometimes it Works? on PDF’s, so I am Not an expert on making corrections on PDFs and Saving w/o Losing MY markings??)

Yes, of course, teachers, professors etc. are ‘properly’ teaching us ‘to Think, analyze for ourselves etc.’….*All i want is a reliable Tab* and maybe a single member who has Seen the truth.

In, this, my First visit to the ‘Forums’: I, Now, have a deep sense that these ‘Forums’ are where Tony’s *Inner Circle* resides?? *Denial, Other perspectives, *Anything* BUT…. just a wee Touch of criticism of *This holy site?* (In the good ‘intellects’ who have commented well…and the ‘Zero’ attitudes of the many who ludicrously Claim:

*There are NO MISTAKES….or RARE ERRORS or REDIRECT TO ‘OTHER REALMS’?*

Far ….far Too much Denial and Redirection; Not ONE (1) affirmation, which WAS my main Goal.

Caveat: “I” can get by Just Fine w/o Perfection in anything here. BUT, I Did See, on many occasions (in the Lesson Comments) Beginners or New Members or Others…commenting Up to 5 times on *The Tab* for any One Lesson. These people NEED an Answer, yet few Lesson comments address ‘Them’!!

‘I’ decided to *Try* this Forum (of which i have zero knowledge of What/who??)

And, as i Said, *This Forum* gives every appearance of an Inner Circle, set up to Celebrate the greatness of this site while Ensuring that No Critics are Tolerated??

YOU, Marguita Do make Valid Points and *Alternate Brain Programming ideas*, Yes!! However, like the rest ….yours is Again a Redirect from the Simple Topic, which Needs Some sort of Support!!! I now *Rest my case*, here, and Proceed on ‘My Way’ and *Forget about New members, Beginners Etcetera, Etc.* Who will Never Know? ACK.

You all obviously *Believe* so strongly in Tony’s site(i wonder HOW Much is His doing, Now…with many * new ideas*, pushed? upon Tony…as Merely another ‘Part” of a ‘Team of programmers, advisors, investors etc. *No/Little Music knowledge*?

I fear, that Tony is just following Directors/ions from the “Money Folks” (excepting ‘Acoustic Tuesday’ and Other stand outs which Seem to be Tony’s true interest and his Arena for His ‘Current Interests and Insights’, NOW….NO body Can “Blame Tony”! “It’s all the New ‘Team of outsiders’? period.

Just to Clarify my interpretation of a ‘Bad Tab’ :

1. Worst, is Tab with wrong Notes.

2. Many Tabs include ‘Fingers’ to use for fingerpicking. Many Do Not.

3. Some Tabs include ‘Chords’, Many don’t. Tho, It’s not Hard for ME to Play usually.

I can easily see ‘Other people’ with a Different upbringing, finding this Difficult.

4. I am forgetting ‘ALL’ the various (Small things to some?) items which are Either included One Day then missing the Next Day? *There are Many, Every week*

5. Anyone here who ‘Claims to see: “Few and rare mistakes….is Just Wrong”! OR, thinking *Only* of *Wrong Notes*?

To: The person who Claims: “Tabs will never be fixed…It’s just Too Hard”… hasn’t Thought this ‘Simple, one-person process, through ?’ One Could ‘Fix’ Months of Tabs in a Week, I believe that ‘i’ could, if YOU could *Catch me and Nail me to a Desk?* heh….

However, *My Pet Issue, here*…does NOT mean “There IS a better sys for me” nor do it mean that: “This is NOT: The BEST sys …for ME? y’know? Right now, i have Not even looked at these Possibles in 2 yrs…..SO i do NOT know, nor do I care to bother.

This is a *Very Good Guitar site* …The ‘Genius’ here is Motivation to Play that thang.

The couple of other sites I have tried, Just take yer $$ and *You are FREE* to roam and DO anything you like. Well, for those spent Any time in ‘college’…you Know just how often *Freedom leads to Drop outs* lots…since many go From Hi skool (strict) to ‘college’ (No restrictions, mostly) POINT: I joined a site for a Year, and Learned 2 or 3 Techniques (partly) since I had ‘No Goal’ to Get me ‘There’ once in 2 mths??

1. ‘Never’ IS very strong language to Use Here, irrefutably So!! *Never*?? *Ever*?

2. Many, many times I have Heard Tony say about ‘His’ techniques: “Well, it May seem like a very strange way to play, but That Is what ‘i’ learned; You ‘all can Play it your own way, of course!!” I have rarely/never heard Tony *Point* to a tab diff.

Everyone, it seems, Repeats the words “rarely”, ‘infrequent’, *Never*, etcetera.

I AM pointing to ALL types of errors, Not just ‘typos’ or just ‘musical notes’.

I See what ‘I’ See, I include *All misleading, incorrect, or missing embellishments Like *which fingers are used for fingerpicking*, a BIG one, since Tony certainly Has his own *Very Unique* Style, especially there! Tony, on Friday, Feb 25…showed ‘Me’ *How to play a simple ‘A’ chord, using basically a ‘D’ Shape*! Tony talked about “My Strange method of playing the ‘A’…and, like Many other times said: “That’s just how ‘I’ learned it, YOU can do it many Other ways?” Yer dern tootin’ I Can/Will . I can immediately, think of 3-4 different ways which are Better, Including the ONE that I learned first and used for many yrs. until recently! I BET ‘Few’ have Ever seen that way ? ‘ x011200 ‘ i.e. : ‘that’s’ just a part of the Need for Meaningful tabs.

Well certainly, But, to me…the Greatest advance made by PC’s is *No more Piles of songs, hard to read, keep a Hold ON, Lost, when I Want a specific Tune* Besides the Above: “I am Not Paying to ‘Correct Mistakes’??”

*Rare* is incorrect! (big things And little things). Yes, I have much experience which allows me to (usually) get by fine. (i learned ‘classical music notation First’)

But, Thousands of people do not/will not ever have *Fretboard Wizard*, I speak also, for Them.

I Do NOT have a Good Ear, at all….have ‘Tried’ many times, i can’t figure out a I,IV,V…song unless i get plain Lucky! Good for You! But, I am Not discussing near “Perfect Pitch” (To ‘me’, anyway)…This argument does nothing to Fix the Tabs, yes?

OK, @ Lorraine…However, I suggest (as a Daily Tab User) that *slightly* is still Wrong.

And, *occasionally* translates to “Minimum 2 times per week”? Perhaps you do not really use Tabs ‘Daily’ and ‘Always’, as I must?

Finally, I find far too many Bad Tabs (from ‘slightly’ to ‘grossly’ wrong, misleading) to waste ‘guitar time’ Trying to specifically ‘Collect’ for submission. ‘They’ *Need* to at least Check them against the ‘Upgraded Videos’? I do Read ‘Comments’ and there were Many complaining about ‘Wrong tabs’, the week of Feb 2, esp. on a Wed????

What *Level* are you at, skill wise?
