| Why I'm Here |
I started trying to learn guitar in my teens which were a long time ago (late 1950’s). There was no place for instruction so I picked up every kind of book, sheet music, word of mouth, you name it. Joan Baez and Bob Dylan were my heroes and I finally got enough confidence to play at woods parties in college, but never really learned the fundamentals. I’ve been on and off with the guitar about 4 times since then and decided this is what I need to do. I’ve got an eight year old Grandson who is now taking lessons and I want to stay in key with him. I’ve already learned a good bit about the keyboard and keys and look forward to the classes. They are fun. I’ve got an old Gibson B25 Natural that I bought when I was 14. Still sounds great, looks rough though. Sold a lot of cotton candy at the rodeos to pay for it. Here’s to the music! George

A few of my old friends are writing songs and we're having a good time putting music to them. Also for my Grand kids. Had a little jam over the Easter days and had a ball. Everyone got involved even the 2-1/2 year old with spoons.
