Dylan, I believe you demonstrated exactly what Tony envisioned for this forum. You showed us how being persistent and consistent equals improvement over time. Importantly, you appear far more confident with your playing. Thank you for the inspiration Dylan!

As a dad of a daughter the sediment of “never grow up” rings true for me as well. Adding the photographs from over the years added context to the lasting affection a father has from the very first time one holds his baby girl to the most recent hug. Time passes much too quickly – my daughter is 39! A very nice tribute to your young lady.

Reading through your responses, Loraine, you are clearly making positive gains with your hand and fingers. It is so good of you to keep your TAC friends updated as we root for you each day for your full recovery.

Oh no! What an awful thing for you to experience Loraine. I have admired your dedication of learning guitar as well as your very kind and supportive encouragement within the TAC forums. Wishing you a successful surgery and rehabilitation for a speedy recovery to again get back to playing guitar.

Your guitar playing ability has caught up with your already excellent innate vocal ability. Inspiring to watch your progression over time with TAC. Recognized your musical abilities from the start. Most of all, it is obvious you have been very consistent and dedicated to devote much practice time to hone your guitar skills.
You certainly ARE alive and clearly having a stellar “guitar life”.

So very sorry your recovery is so prolonged. Hang in there Loraine.

Safe travels to NC. I’m one of many in TAC that reside in the Tar Heel (and, Wolf Pack) state. What area of NC?

I, and, expect all your TAC cheer team, will continue to send out thoughts and prayers for a rapid and successful recovery for you Loraine as you rehab without further adverse incidents.

Just wanted you to know I’ve been thinking about you and tomorrow’s surgery. I will continue pray for both you and the surgical team asking for a successful outcome.
