Effort + Freed Mind = ∞ possibility. I see a free mind developing as a result of your observations regarding your effort. Winning…Oh heck ya!

@jcf , The way I read your question, I think you asking about your finger tips on your fretting hand. It takes a week or two to get through the toughening up period (sometimes longer) but they will toughen and callouses will develop. Hang in there and know that the hardest part is behind you. We all go through it and nobody likes it. The good news is you only have to go through it once as long as you keep playing.

Yes, the challenges from last month will come around again. There is a heart Icon you can use to favorite lessons you want to continue to explore, chew on, suck the marrow out of etc. By hitting the favorite you will be able to access it as long as you like. If you are looking for a certain lesson and did not favorite it check out other members’ profiles and see what they favorited. You can access past lessons through the lessons other members have favorited. Once there, you can favorite the lesson so you don’t have to keep going back to it through other members’ profiles.

One way to get access is to favorite other peoples favorites. You can search a member and see what they have as favorites and then favorite off of their chosen favorites.

Yep Sure @Mark76 you can use your pinky. There is always a balance going on between how I can play and how I want to play. It is fun to be able to get something sounding good. I encourage you to continue to stretch your fingers because as your playing becomes more complex you will really appreciate the ability to grab that 2nd note with your ring finger. If that stretch is too much right now at the second/fourth frets, as a primer, move the whole thing up to fret 12/14 where the frets are closer together and begin working your way down to the wider spaced frets.

@TreGrizz , crazy good!!!. The more I use my flat pick the more it becomes a natural extension of my fingers. It keeps getting better and better! Nice Small Win.

@MikeGaurnier : I often times find myself in unexpected places wondering, how did I get here? In those moments I realize the way back is the way forward and next time I pass this way I know where the pits lie.

Persistence over time is what I found yields continued results. As you start exercising and stretching you will gain dexterity.
