Hi @Tbeats . Glad you are finding a way to become more than a dabbler. I have no experience with the tip protectors so I won’t speak to that. I do know that your fingers will toughen and callous if you stick with it. Not fun in the short run but the result keeps me playing. I find there is more to it than not having sore finger tips. It provides me better tone and the harder they get the less pressure it takes to make the string ring. I can get on and off a tone faster. If you go with the tips I would be curious to know what you think.

Nice win @Bill_Brown , Me? I just kept after the triplet pulloff hammeron sequence from Wednesdays E scale/solo lesson. There is a magical little rhythmic picking thing going on that has me ever so intrigued. It is the down stroke upstroke in conjunction with the PO, HO that has me hooked.

@dr_dave , I wish I could take credit for some amount of smarts but truth be told Victoria mentioned the “Blog” in another post where people were looking for replays; no link, just that it existed. After my cursory glancing around, not seeing anything, I thought to search it in my browser and it came up. Up at the top of my heading/title there is a small light orange circled star on the right hand side…I think that is the favorite icon.

@Bill_Brown , maybe. I shoot for to intuitive and expressive, until then I just keep messing with it. I can see how applicable this is in other applications. Cool stuff.

@Alfun , I just realized the confusion re April 1 vs April 7: what is titled as April 1 is really April 7. You got that figured and now I do too and we are on the same page😉

@dr_dave , I don’t know about the “blog” in general. It is the location where I found the replay but it looks like other information is also there. The link worked just now so maybe the jackhammers and concrete trucks did their jobs.
I really would like a sticker with Floating Tony that says “Whoa There”

@dr_dave A little further down I posted about the link in the header next to the TAC logo. Give that a try. I just checked it and got to the replay successfully. Levy also said he is working on a new sidebar icon. Jack hammers and concrete trucks are on site.

Hi @Goat , there was a lot going on in yesterday’s scale lesson. I had to break it down to its basic structure. I was pretty motivated though to stick with it because it reminded me of how one of my favorite artists plays (Dickey Betts). Have you figured it out or would you like some help figuring it out?
