I love seeing and hearing live music. In the early 80’s I discovered The Speakeasy on MacDougal St in NYC. I would take the train in from NJ to hear various folk artists play. It gave me something. It was peace, love, and purpose. I have never been able to play an instrument myself, but I am more determined now to practice and get to a place where I can play and sing some of my favorite songs. It may take a while, but that’s okay the process is rewarding!
