Hi Oh, Welcome to TAC

I ran into the same issue when I went to redo the 30 day challenge a couple weeks ago. The first time i ran through this last November December, they had the different levels on video, with the three different levels it was extra motivational to get the 1 second done. Some changes are not for the better, I guess. By the way I’m from Ketchikan, its nice to see another TAC person from Alaska.

I see Julies performance had a similar affect on you. One of the things that I think about while playing the guitar and singing is that some people reach a point that I will never reach, basically because of God’s gift of talent. So I continue to work on the parts of the singing and , or playing that appeals to me. I do play without singing a lot but not much singing without playing. I would love to be able to sing like Elvis and Play like Mayer, but in the meantime I will continue dreaming and working on singing and playing the best I can.

I just ordered the dreadnought junior 10 natural spruce acoustic electric, I hope I will like it $599 from sweetwater. Its a done deal so wish me luck, thanks for all the input.

Natural spruce or cherry Sapele?

I looked up the dreadnought jr from Sweetwater and they just have a few choices a D JR-10 and then a couple of acoutic electric. They are quite a bit cheaper than the taylor. The taylors gs mini listed as high at 999$ the dreadnought jr 499 and 599

I am leaning away for the taylor Gs toward the martin dread junior so far, thanks again for all of your input, you are a wonderful group!!!

Thanks, everyone. Well the two qualities I am looking for in a mini, is playability for aging fingers and fullness of sound. I believe it is not an easy task for a mini to have fullness of sound but that being said those are my priorities. And as TJ said I don’t have an opportunity to live test these as we do not have a guitar store in Ketchikan.

Yes, I realize that there are ways to adjust, I was just looking for a video that went through the three stages of working on the chords. as Tony seemed to indicate in his explanation of the practice technique. Thanks for the response I will quit looking.

Thanks Mike, I am hoping it is an acoustic guitar I can play. So far all the acoustics I have tried are not as easy to play as my electric. And therefore I am always going back to my electric especially on VOM.
