I had to play it then share it via email to myself then copy the link in the email then paste it on TAC then I test the link to be sure it will work for the viewers. I had issues getting posts to work also using this method to date no issues hope it helps you.

Just awesome know what it is like I dont sing in a band normaly but get asked to sing as a guest with the band when out dancing which I love to do and play at assisted living nursing centers some of the time durations are large 2hrs plus is just about my limit of memory with very few breaks some on piano some guitar but a taxing challenge to pull off so kudos to you and keep on that music ride.

Thanks @Roy-Phils covering someones song is a way of keeping all they did alive you must never feel bad about paying it forward someone young will hear it like it and keep it remembered it may not be the hit it once was but alive it will be.

Thanks @John_Hall my mind drifts back to the days I heard different songs then one will stand out then I look it up on the net listen to the original then dig into the chords Found on E Chords Chordify Cowboy Lyrics. Or Chordie Then play them with acoustic over and over determine the key determine the strumming pattern determine if it sounds better flat picked or finger picked or a mix of both. Then determine Electric rock or Acoustic Then talk sing it out until I have it memorized then sing it play it with full effort clean up the weak spots then record then listen to the playback make changes then improv a note solo based on my hearing it in my mind put it all together and take the leap of faith and post it almost all my songs go through this procedure. I hope In some way this helps you with your music goals.

I just think the newer generation will forget the Eagles unless people are allowed to cover the songs think of all the artists long gone if someone didnt keep their music alive who is going to care. I practically wore my Eagles tape out music lives on when it is covered Don Henley testified that the royalties are less and less because of lack of sales 20 year olds dont even know about them and wont unless they hear it not played on any stations they listen to so us old folks play them maybe they will like it and want more they deserve to live on. Any way thanks for listening in and for commenting very glad you did. @albert_d

Yes I do sound like him unless I purposely try not to. Like when I do country songs old Jim Reeves Merle Hagard Hank Williams or Bob Seger Jim Croce John Denver just did some Bread Brad Paisley now on 2nd page of forum type music Elvis is done with out a lot of thought those others I have to think about so it does not always sound like Elvis a blessing and a curse ha ha

-
Thanks @PattyBZ11 I can do a lot of Elvis songs hold back so people dont think I am an impersonator but love the songs fast or slow so once in awhile sneak one in ha ha I believe they should live on.

Thanks @Philb I can only say about 85% recall on the songs if I have not played them in awhile so without the net for word chord repair my libary is some what less I got a good memory but it is short ha ha
Thanks for listening in and commenting
