Thanks so very much for listening in and commenting. Very much appreciated so glad you found the unplugged campfire rendition enjoyable. Dont know why but this song has always caught my ear think I will add some piano on my next version in the beginning and ending play guitar in between.

Thanks you are very astute I have been working like a beast on playing in time counting the strums and patterns digging into the bones of the song with picking percussion strumming and now solo note runs. You picked up on it Im not surprised. Been a long road but it is finally starting to pay off thanks for being there in my journey. Im so glad you enjoyed the unplugged campfire rendition.

Thanks so very very much Tricia I am so grateful you found the time to listen in and took the effort to comment and enjoyed the unplugged campfire rendition. I have always liked the haunting of this song and I have been in blizzards so it rang true with me. Performing it is such a joy just love music and hope it is a joy for you also.

Thanks so very much for listening in and commenting. Very much appreciated so glad you enjoyed the unplugged campfire rendition. The violet ray I told you about was the only thing that brought my hands back to where I could get enough finger pressure without pain to play guitar again. Its an out of the box solution kind of like the title name change. It worked so well I dont use it anymore natural things work this time around. The main thing with finger picking to me is the count 1 T 2Index 3middle 4ring sometimes pinch on the 1 or the 4 the strum I listen to the original break it down to strum count patterns then research online for suggested patterns for songs DDD DU 123 4and U are upstrums. What I found was there are so many strum patterns for different songs that I never thought about. Hope that helps you and I will help you with your hands if I can. You have always been supportive and deserve it. Remember my 41years of electrical and Instrumentation in the power industry has always made me think outside the box to get things done.

Thanks for listening in and commenting. Very much appreciated so glad you enjoyed the unplugged campfire version. My hats off to you learning memorizing the lyrics is so much harder than just reading off a screen or Karaoke background. But it is so good for your brain when I 1st started memorizing it took many many takes to get something worth posting. It was so frustrating but now about 3 times on a new song and I got it with about 85% recall after a long time elapsed. Working that mind is absolutely key for me. Alzheimer’s runs in my family bigtime I intend to fight it I have seen what happens if you don’t. Music is my tool to make it happen. So kudos to you for choosing to memorize it will pay off.

Thanks so very much for listening in and commenting. Very much appreciated so glad you enjoyed the unplugged campfire rendition. How long I have been playing is long story I started many years ago. But only on my own and work and life injuries got in the way so I never got very skilled.
Then I semi retired healed my injuries and picked the guitar up again this time I joined TAC and other guitar teaching sites. With more time to practice and play slowly started improving. 2 things changed the progress finger picking strum patterns all in time constantly keep the time in the head tap a foot or muting. So I learned penatonics and scales but forgot some because I couldn’t apply them to songs and sing at the same time. 4 years now starting to change that. Hope your journey is as rewarding as mine has been.
