@Michelle-PSL, after listening to the lyrics it seems that the “old shoes” might be the ones being worn by the soon-to-be traveler and “picture postcards” seem to be the memory pictures of the one being left behind as the traveler begins the journey. Does that sound right? I never heard this song before but you certainly held my interest and I love the boom-chuck strumming. Great job!!!

Thanks, @Alfred! That pine and cedar smell reminds me of times in the mountains. Those songs are so much a part of me growing up. Even those from the 40’s and 50’s because my mom or dad would hum or sing them. They are a source of comfort for me, and trying to improve the rhythm, although sometimes challenging, is something that feels natural and something for which I should be aiming. Being born in that time period gives a person advantage of the music of the before and after generations…

@Michelle-PSL, When we first talked, I may have mentioned how important words are to me. I listen hard… that MAY make it easier for me to read or find a meaning.
These must be antennas – I think we used to call them Rabbit Ears… 🤣

I don’t always get to view it live, but do listen and learn. Sometimes I think it would have been good to have a guitar teacher when I was much younger and all the tips would be engrained in me by now. Oh, well, we’re all moving forward in our journey and that’s what matters.🙂🙃

Will this discourage people from posting their videos onto the TAC forum? It’s hard yet to understand all that is going on and I’m trying to trust that it is for the good of the group.
