You might find it easier to play on a smaller guitar (like a Baby Taylor). Also check out the finger exercises (think they were somewhere in the 30 day start program). Things won’t sound so good till you build up some calluses on your fingers, but it will happen for you if you don’t give up.

Thanks so much for posting. I downloaded those tabs and I’m working on it (every commercial on the TV). I feel like my husband’s gonna learn it before I do as I play it so much). My budgie loves this song, and flies to my head whenever I play. lol I started by using my ring finger. It was so slow and hard I decided to use my pinkie to give it a workout. Got a bit of a callus, but did go back to using my ring finger and my reach has improved. My goal is to be able to play (without looking at the TAB) by my first TACversary.

Thanks for the inspiration. I downloaded the structure parts, and trying to play it as often as I can. This song was always a goal when joining TAC…but I came to believe that it was beyond my reach. .I love this easier version and doing finger stretches really helps. My 1st TACiversary is in 3 mo. Hope to be able to post by then.
I hope you will post an update….just to show that with the work it’s possible to play.

Enjoyed your playing. I think I remember EmmyLou Harris playing this song back in the day.
