I’m a hack. Though I can honestly lay claim to having played the guitar for 47 years, the truth is that I play like a guy who’s played for 1 year, 47 times. I’ve probably leveled out at the same, frustrating plateau at least a dozen times over the years and I truly believe that the principal blockage for me is a fundamental lack of understanding of the fret board and how it really works as a system.
