Capo at 9! Woah. Does that make it easier or harder to fret? You’re almost playing a mandolin at this point. 😀 But well done. Kept a great steady rhythm going there and good chord changes.

I’m starting to feel that this is a challenge to insert keyboards into one of my play for us vids now! 🤘😂🎹. But seriously it is great to hear the acoustic version. It still has such a great power and vibe, probably helped by the fact that unlike me you can actually sing!

Hey there. I’m trying to think whether this may be the first time I’ve heard you play. Regardless this was a really great performance all round, singing, consistency of playing, flatpicking. It’s a nice song too. Not heard it before. You definitely have the flatpicking chops my friend!

Really enjoyed this when you played it last night. There were a lot of fabulous songs all round to be honest and I would echo all your comments about getting along to a VOM if you can. Even if you don’t feel confident enough to perform, it is great to meet everyone, especially the transatlantic friends it would be somewhat tricky to meet in person, covid or no covid! 🤘😎🎸

I think that you gave to be a bit more creative when you still don’t have the full toolbox of guitar chords at ypur fingertips but you can still make good tunes even with standard chords.

But yes you’re right about the variety you can get from such basic chords. I have to be creative because I still can’t master barre chords. I hope that will come in year 2.
