Thanks for that one. Bad enough you have to play that fast but to do it at an open mic takes guts (or stupidity 🤔). Just blistering good fun. Great song too!

It really is important to feel right with the guitar and struggling with something that isn’t right, no matter how good an instrument, is no fun. I love my Yamaha AC3R which is a concert body with the same cutaway you have there. It just works for me better than my dreadnought, although I love that for the volume! Have a great time with your new friend. (One day I will own a Taylor!) 🤘😎🎸

That is awesome so well done. It gets to the stage where no matter what you can’t afford to reset to day 1 – the pressures on for 300 now then the big 365!

I haven’t come across that one yet so I might try to give that a go. Thanks for the tip and well done on finishing it. I’m finding that 90 day progress party a real motivator to set some goals and more importantly actually do them!

Hi there. Congratulations – that is going to be an awesome new friend for your guitar journey. Coincidentally Peach is my local guitar store (I lived in Colchester and went to school there) and since joining TAC I have bought both of the guitars I’m currently playing from them, a wonderful Yamaha ACR3 (Rosewood back and sides, Sitka Spruce top) and just two weeks ago a Paul Reed Smith SE Standard electric – both in tabacco sunburst. They are both a dream – you can see them in my last Play For Us forum upload although obviously the PRS is on a stand in the background!
I hope you enjoy the Larrivee. They have a great team at Peach and you can pick up some real bargain quality guitars from them. If I had deeper pockets I’d have about 20 guitars by now. Keep on rockin’ 🤘😎🎸

Pinched notes, strums and sliding notes as well as the rolls are just great in combination. Great job. 🤟😎🎸

You have really locked those scales down and it’s allowingyou to just pick where to play with confidence. I am still finding the improvs a real challenge. Just hoping Tony’s Fretboard Wizard 2.0 will come out this summer so I can start to understand the fretboard more intuitively. For now it’s just great to watch someone else nailing it!

I’ve heard that Dave Grohl says he plays guitar like a drummer too! It’s all about the rhythm. I think that is definitely a strength having that background.

DADGAD is just really great fun to play around with although I snapped another string yesterday tuning back up to standard. (They needed changing anyway)

This is an awesome link – thanks a lot. More to work on now! 🤘😎🎸

Yes – I think a couple of sets of strings is fair enough when you’ve spent that much! (Mine were slightly cheaper than that). Have fun with your new baby and I look forward to hearing more from you.

Thanks. Once I really nail it I’ll take it to a Virtual Open Mic.

Thanks so much. I love watching your videos too!

Thanks. Sounds brilliant. And an A+ 🌟 for your use of emojis!

Thanks. Strange how images and music combine in your head. Never conjures up the same thing to two different people but that’s the joy of it.
