Get fretboard Wizard – what really has helped me from the course, was how to find chords from songs…I can now naildown the key being played and from there pretty much guess the chords they are using…now, rather than just listening to songs, I’ve got my guitar in hand and I’m playing along…once you get it, you have it on your dashboard to go back to anytime…

Hi Juhan – What I’ve learned is that you can put nylon strings on the Yanaha acoustic, however, nylon strings are a little wider than the steel strings and you may have a problem with them resting in the grooves of the nut. Also the Yamaha may have a narrow fretboard which may impact your playing…My classical guitar with nylon strings is a little wider than my gibson or the martin. I do like the classical guitar for just picking it up and playing since I play fingers all the time…the classical guitars can not handle the pull of steel strings because they do not have truss rods in them, that’s why the fretboard will belly if you throw steels on a classical…Hope this helps

Hi Tonia_v…this has been a source of mystery as well. My counter seems to retrogress the more days I play, or it jumps from one number to another. For example, I had a 269 number when I started my current daily run and right now I am at 71 log in days in a row and the counter today is at 250…so I’m confused as to what it is trying to tell me. I do the daily, and check that box off, and on weekends I’m going over those past week lessons and doing one of the skill sets…perhaps if they didn’t have it there I wouldn’t be watching it like a fool…lol

Shirley E – yes it does look different from what he is playing, but here’s the thing, the blues is a 12 bar sequence – and if you look at the second line of tab to the end of the tab, that is your 12 bar blues sequence…the first line of tab is just showing the 3 different chord patterns you are to play in this version of the 12 bar blues. Now I did not follow what he did in the ‘play’ all the way, but once I saw the tab, I kjnd of figured out what it was about…
