I’ve always been into music. Playing it, listening to it, studying it. It’s a big part of my life and who I am. I originally  started out playing drums when i was about 15. Over the years I have been in a few bands. Playing drums was always my true passion. I used to play a little guitar and bass in between, so i have always been into music.
I enjoy all kinds but my favorite is progressive Rock. My favorite Prog rock band is Dream Theater. Their playing skill is over the top.  John Petrucci’s guitar playing  is unbelievable, but they are all musical masters in their right. Gary Moore, another favorite died way to early. There are so many amazing players out there, too many to mention. Sadly some of them will never be known.
Playing electric guitar fills a certain spot for me, but acoustic also has it’s place. Usually for those expressive quiet, reflective times.
My favorite electric guitars are PRS’s. My favorite acoustics are my Martin 12 string (D12-28) and my Breedlove Oregon Concert. My Fender GA is one that i have had for about 15 years is my old time buddy. lol. Long story behind that one.
My goal is to be able to play what i want, when i want effortlessly. I have so many songs floating around inside my head that i want to get out. I practice pretty much everyday to work towards that goal. Some days it feels like I’m getting there, and then there is that day or two that makes me wonder if i am ever going to get there.

The main thing for me is that i want to be able to express myself through my music. Â To play on the guitar what music i hear in my head. (i hope that doesn't sound psychotic. lol )
