And, fwiiw, I use my strap to play at the same location sitting and standing, which has helped me with both since the guitar is right where I expect it to be.

I once had a similar experience. I transformed “the Look” when I asked her, what would you like to hear. “Home on the Range” actually, by the 3rd day of the trip had her singing along.
