Listening to your song I played Eva Cassidy. Both played at once on my computer. Very beautiful.

Great Post. I wasn’t looking for backing tracks but will now check out some of these sites. This reminds me of the old forums when 1 post would give multiple answers.

Love the song and the guitar is beautiful. Nice rendition.

I learned guitar playing songs for our preschool. Songs like “If your happy and you know it clap your hands” and “The wheels on the bus” and The Bumble Bee Song Buzz, Buzz, Buzz, were always big favorites. Can’t help you with the German but the last song I learned was Baby Shark. My 3 yr old grandson loves it. A YouTube Kids search will give you lots of songs.

I too have been diagnosed with wrist ligament issues. Hope you have a good P.T. Try to stay with the 10 minute daily TAC challenge. Don’t overdue it. Let the strength come back before trying long practices. The forums are still messed up but the helpful people are still here in spite of the obstacles. Hang in there!

Thanks to @Bill_Brown and @MikeGaunier for their excellent explanations of FBW. Thanks also to @Johnv, @Taddeo, @NW7 for bringing up interesting thoughts. The one comment that really resonated was:
“The only way to see/hear the simplicity of music theory is to teach it through and on a musical instrument” by MikeGaunier.
Although everyone recommended FBW first and then explore, I’m inclined to do the opposite. Delve into Justin, Active Melody, maybe another and then see where that leads me. I have a feeling I will end up at FBW but will bring some increase in knowledge.

Thanks for the reply. I do like Tony’s style. I always thought I would know when I was ready for Fret board Wizard. I’m ready now for some music theory to better understand what I am playing. Tony is never boring and I can see how this could be a difficult class to keep interest at a high level. Cost is always a factor and the lack of a monthly choice in FW makes me pause to think about it. How long does the class go for?

HAHA. I just broke a string on my old nylon guitar that I hadn’t played in months. Intro strumming on Who’ll Stop the Rain.

I have only played a Martin OOO15 and a Taylor 314 a couple of times in a guitar store and remember they both were guitars I would like to own. The Zager is every bit as smooth and has wonderful tone. I think the Zager20 is $795 compared to $1700 for the Taylor or $1400 for the Martin. I was seriously considering a Zager1800 along with the Martin and Taylor but for now, I am happy. The dreadnought size is not what I would have chose since my last purchase was an AF77ce OM Alvarez. I find the OM size more comfortable but you can’t beat the ease of playing a Zager. Especially when you consider the cost.
