I really try to play a little bit every day. That doesn’t always work…but I’ve actually gotten more consistent since COVID. I’ve been working from home for almost two years now, so my guitar is right there beside my workspace. I can pick it up any time throughout the day. Perfect week…I’ll play every day for at least 30 minutes.

I wake up early, before the wife and kids and dogs, so I can usually get 30 to 45 minutes of focused playing in while I’m having that first cup of coffee.

My guitar area is set up in the corner of my home office. That is where I like to play. I’ll occasionally take the guitar outside when the weather is nice…but truthfully, I’m self-conscious about the neighbors hearing my playing.
